The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do to map your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot claims that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors better than a vibrating pad.
The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.
For the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.
What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can wish for. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. If automatic vacuum and mop robot click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the settings menu of the app where you can alter how the L10s Ultra works with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
